Bubbly, colorful, and filled with the Spirit!

Jill had been redesigning homes for her family and friends for as long as anyone can remember.  The daughter of a successful realtor, she has also bought and sold six homes in her adulthood, staging each one as she prepared to move again.  She loved managing the remodels a lot more than her husband liked having their home under construction, so he finally suggested, “why don’t you offer to do this to other people’s homes?” And so, she did!

Jill achieved her certification in Real Estate Staging and Redesign in 2006, and by 2009 became a certified senior move manager.  She founded Senior Moves by Design, in Eastern Pennsylvania, USA, a Move Management Company specializing in what Jill has called her Joyful Moves ProcessTM. Over a decade, Jill and her team of talented and caring professionals partnered with well over 1500 households to transition from family home into beautifully designed and thoughtfully planned retirement cottages and apartments. 

The company is now comprised of over twenty talented employees who successfully support their clients, by furniture and space planning the new home, helping guide clients in sorting and selecting their favorite things to go along, preparing their old homes for sale, and then wrapping up with a full pack, transport to the new home and a full unpack in one day.  (Yes, one day!)  New homes go from empty shells to looking like home, but better!  Our clients can immediately become integrated in the task of enjoying their new retirement lifestyle, with the task of relocating quickly behind them. More recently, Jill has expanded her company's offering to include de-cluttering and organizing for seniors who opt to remain in their homes - aging-in-place - rather than moving to a senior community. Over the past few years, Jill has also developed a seminar series which has been rapidly gaining in popularity.  She regularly delivers to (now mostly virtual) audiences, sponsored by senior communities, public libraries and community centers, and a local college.
 
On July 1, 2015, Jill was recognized by her peers as one of the industry's leaders and was elected to serve on the Board of NASMM, the National Association of Senior and Specialty Move Managers. In 2018 she was reelected to a second term and also assumed a board office position. She is a popular speaker, and has presented at six (6) NASMM national conferences and was an invited speaker at RESACon 2019 in Las Vegas, the national conference for staging professionals.  

As her businesses are now well-established with excellent and experienced managers, Jill has turned her attention and her energy to spreading the word about how these services and philosophies can promote healthier, more peaceful living.
